Mark Gibbs, partner and member of the firm's Board of Directors, has extensive experience in commercial audit services, as well as merger and acquisition due diligence work. Mark is the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industry leader at HLB Tautges Redpath and has worked in the commercial audit department since 1986. In recent years, Mark has spent considerable time working on merger and acquisition due diligence on both the seller side and buyer side with his clients, as well as with private equity firms.
Mark is a frequent speaker and most recently presented seminars for the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) on financial reporting, financial statement fraud, and the Risk Assessment Standards, as well as FASB and SAS updates on emerging accounting and financial reporting issues. He is a member of FORGE, an alliance of professionals focusing on accelerating manufacturer growth. He also is a member of The Collaborative and Manufacturers Alliance.
Mark is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).
Mark is a lifelong hockey fan. He is a hockey statistic encyclopedia and enjoys collecting hockey memorabilia which includes a collection of more than 30 game-worn jerseys. He lives in St. Paul with his wife Dianne and their three children.
